San Diego Kroc holds 4th of July ‘Church at the Pool’

Submitted by on July 4, 2010 – One Comment

San Diego Kroc's July 4th Church at the Pool! The original, first-ever, mothership of Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Centers – located in beautiful San Diego – celebrates the 4th of July in a fun, family-friendly way. They hold church at the pool!

Can you think of a better way to get kids (moms and dads too!) to go to church on the best day of the summer? Me either.

Captains John and Lisa Van Cleef pastor The Salvation Army worship center which meets at the San Diego Kroc. They’ve held their world-famous Church at the Pool for four years. In addition to a great time of worshiping God, in past years they’ve held high-dive contests, soaked the pastor in the dunk-tank, and raised money for great causes.

This year they will be doing all that and more. Please click here to find out what the Van Cleef’s have going on today at the San Diego Kroc’s Church at the Pool.

What a wonderful way to worship Our Great God and say ‘thank you’ for giving us a great gift called America!
