The Christmas season kicked off in style when Seattle-area celebrities gathered to ring the bells at the famous Salvation Army red kettles at the corner of 5th and Pine Avenues last week.

The festivities were lead by Salvation Army Lt. Col. Doug O’Brien, who was joined by Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll, and UW Football Coach Steve Sarkisian.

Plus, Former Seahawk Warren Moon, Miss Seattle, Fire Chief Gregory Dean, local television and radio personalities, team mascots, Salvation Army board members and donors and others joined the merriment to raise money for The Salvation Army.
