newSKY shoe by New Balance

This week shoemaker New Balance debuted their newest line of footwear. Called newSKY, the shoes are made with 95% recycled plastic bottles!

According to the video on their website, it takes 8 bottles to make a pair of shoes. Click on the white arrow below to find out more about how they’re made.

And, in the spirit of Reduce, Reuse & Recycle, our friends at New Balance are encouraging customers to donate the shoes they no longer wear to us. What a great idea! Thanks New Balance.
