Hanes 3rd Annual Virtual Sock DriveStarting one week from today – November 14, 2011 – Hanes will launch their 3rd Annual Virtual Sock Drive to help The Salvation Army bring comfort to those in need.

All you have to do to participate is visit Hanes on Facebook and click the “donate now” button! When you do Hanes will donate a pair of socks toward the overall goal of 250,000 pairs (half a million individual socks!).

Once this year’s Sock Drive is over, Hanes will have donated a combined total of 1.7 million individual socks in the last three years!

This past Friday, Hanes brought their virtual Facebook drive to life by joining The Salvation Army to distribute socks and food to homeless people in LA on Skid Row.

Special guest Mark Horvath – founder of www.invisiblepeople.tv – has traveled the US and Canada to speak out on behalf of homeless people and hand out Hanes socks. He joined us on Friday in Skid Row, Los Angeles for his last official stop on his cross-country tour.

Thank you!
