The Salvation Army is supporting 5,000 people with food since many who have recovered from Ebola often return home to find their possessions removed to ward off further infection. Be a virtual Salvation Army Bellringer from the comfort of your desk or couch!

Red KettleHave you ever noticed one of our bellringers at the mall and thought to yourself, “gee, I’d love to wear a red windbreaker and ring the bell for The Salvation Army, but I’m busy working / taking care of my kids / going to school all day. “If only I could support the Army at the kettle from the comfort of my desk or couch!”

Well, the wait is over! Our Online Red Kettle campaign is in full swing, ready and waiting for you.

In fact, this will be the fourth year of our Online Red Kettle program here in the US. But this year the website is new and improved and even easier to use than ever before.

All you have to do is sign up, create a kettle and then email your family, colleagues, friends, customers, etc. and ask them to give generously so The Salvation Army can help make Christmas memories for people who are struggling financially this year.

Click on the arrow below to find out more about the Online Red Kettle from our USA West Territorial Commander, Commissioner Jim Knaggs.

If you’d like a step-by-step tutorial on how to set up your kettle, Commissioner Knaggs will show you how in the video below.

What are you waiting for? Click here for a link to the Online Red Kettle website and start helping the Army care for people in need in your community.

Greetings! I set up a virtual kettle to promote on my (food) blog. I would like to put a widget in a sidebar of the blog but cannot find a link to code any where. Admittedly, I am not gifted with coding and cannot figure out how to make my own. Is there a widget gallery that I missed?
