Liberian Salvation Army delivers supplies to help stop spread of Ebola

Until that time comes, I’m grateful that our Army is also there offering its help in the form of sanitation supplies to medical facilities, food relief to affected families and even operating its mobile clinic. “Uncle Miltie” did his part to help The Salvation Army kettle campaign!

Uncle Miltie loves the Army!

This television legend was the first inductee into the Comedy Hall of Fame in 1991.

He was also a fan of the work of The Salvation Army and recorded TV spots to encourage the public to give generously.

He’s one of many notable people who filmed brief public service announcements for The Salvation Army during the 1950s through the 1980s.
