The Salvation Army loves re-gifting!

Submitted by on January 4, 2012 – No Comment

Our pal Jenni Ragland at The Salvation Army in Alaska has a great plan!

She came up with a calendar of ideas for how to give effectively during each month of the coming year and shared it with KTUU – Alaska’s NBC station.

Here’s a link to the great story about how to keep the giving spirit alive all year.

Her suggestion for January is a simple reminder: as you make room in your home for the new things you received at Christmas, we’d love to have your gently-used clothing and household goods or vehicles!

In fact, we may be able to come pick them up.

Call 1 800 SA TRUCK (1 800 728 7825) to find out!

Our Salvation Army stores rely on donations of items – in reasonably good condition – that can be sold to raise the income that supports our fine local programs and services.

To find the store or donation drop-off location near you, go to www.satruck.com to use our handy zip code finder in the top right of the screen.

The Salvation Army will gladly accept your re-gift with pleasure! Thanks in advance for your generosity.
