Salvation Army center in Anaheim helps repair Tami’s broken life

Submitted by on May 2, 2012 – No Comment

We’re back with another audio slideshow that tells the story of an important Salvation Army ministry through the experience of one individual.

Our Adult Rehabilitation Centers (ARCs) are well known for providing no-fee residential drug and alcohol programs in communities across the United States.

But did you know that several cities have programs for both men and women?

Just a few miles from the happiest place on earth, Anaheim is one of the locations here in the Western United States that has a full-service program for 28 women at a time that provides in-residence rehabilitation, the necessities of life, counseling, group activities, spiritual support, work therapy and much more.

Click below to enjoy our first in a series of audio slideshows about different aspects of The Salvation Army’s ministry at the Adult Rehabilitation Center in Anaheim.

** The slideshow was created by our Web Services Manager, John Docter. The photos were taken by John and the sound recorded by yours truly.

Remember, everything you donate to or buy from a Salvation Army Family Store helps someone like Tami kick a painful addiction, experience God’s love and grace, learn good work habits, and one day return to their families whole and healthy.

Thank you for your support!
