Salvation Army Chef Junior’s stuffed chicken breast recipe!

Submitted by on September 26, 2012 – No Comment

All over the world Salvation Army chefs are cooking up great eats for the men, women and children in our programs. We show people the love of God through good, healthy food.

As a long time employee of our Army, I’ve eaten some fabulous meals in my days. A couple weeks back I had the pleasure of joining some of our staff to sample a tasty dish from the kitchen of our Meals on Wheels program in Redondo Beach, California.

We made a short video of Clemente Torres – also known as Chef Junior – preparing one of his signature dishes, stuffed chicken breasts!

Chef Junior grew up in the Redondo Beach area and remembers the silver trays his grandma would get delivered to her home every day: a dinner prepared by the local Meals on Wheels. He dreamed of one day using his skill in the kitchen to bless seniors and provide them delicious, healthy meals.
