The Salvation Army Family Stores in the Southern California area are full of good news!

Our first store-front / drive-up donation center!

Our first store-front / drive-up donation center!

On July 1, we opened our first storefront / drive-up donation center! Located at 16936 Ventura Boulevard in Encino, the 800 square-foot site will be staffed with Salvation Army personnel who can help unload large items.

The site will be open seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Of course, home pick up is still available and can be arranged by calling 1 800 SA TRUCK.

And, one of our awesome Orange County stores just got a little more awesome! After a major remodel and expansion, the Family Store located at 180 South Tustin Boulevard in the city of Orange is holding a “Grand Re-Opening” celebration today, July 12 and tomorrow, July 13.

There will be free face painting for kids, hot dogs and sodas for $1.50, and a 50% storewide sale on nearly everything! For more information about the store and the celebration, please click here for a link to The Salvation Army Orange County blog.

Daniel Hauger, the local Community Relations Manager, is really talented with a camera so here’s a video preview he made of the newly-remodeled store:

Remember that everything you give to or buy from a Salvation Army Family Store helps us care for people who need comprehensive, no-fee, residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

:: Click on or call 1 800 SA TRUCK for a Family Store location, Adult Rehabilitation Center or donation drop-off site.

Thank you!
