Seeing life differently in Phoenix

Submitted by on October 1, 2013 – No Comment

eyeglassesMore than 500 Phoenix-area folks who lacked the money or insurance coverage to manage their eye care needs are seeing life a little differently this week!

The Salvation Army in Phoenix teamed up with seven local eye doctors and their employees to improve the vision of hundreds of low-income area residents last Saturday.

Doctors, technicians and other staff from the Southwestern Eye Center donated their time to provide free exams, contacts and glasses to individuals pre-screened for eligibility by The Salvation Army.

Thank you to the doctors and staff at Southwestern Eye Center for caring for people in this special way!
