Submitted by on January 23, 2014 – No Comment

Super Bowl 48A very generous – and anonymous – Seattle Seahawks season ticket holder has offered two Super Bowl XLVIII (48) tickets, valued at $800 each, to benefit The Salvation Army!

The tickets are being auctioned off on EBay and the proceeds will be donated to fund the good work of the Army in the Pacific Northwest.

The Seattle Seahawks will meet the Denver Broncos in the championship game on Sunday, February 2. The seats are located next to each other, in Section 329, Row 25, in MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

“In my 30+ years as a Salvation Army Officer, this is the first time I’ve received Super Bowl tickets as a donation,” said Major Doug Tollerud, Divisional Commander for The Salvation Army in the Northwest. “We are grateful to the donor for this creative donation and fun opportunity to raise money in a different way.”

The auction began on Wednesday, January 22 and closes on Monday, January 27, at 5:00pm PST.
