Sometimes addictions are so powerful that they drag good people from those they love most in the world. Other times, people go willingly.
Mark was one of the latter. Watch this video. He’ll tell you that he ran out on his children.
But recovery allowed him to rebuild. He says, “by the grace of God and some amazing events, I got my daughter back.”
Mark also cautions others in his situation with these words: “If we think for one minute that we’re not hurting anybody – ‘I’m the one doing the drugs. I’m the one doing the drinking’ – that’s not true. We’re hurting a lot of people.”
